When looking at Stephane’s pictures, even at the very first picture you watch, you can see that there’s a complete story inside them. And when I say you watch the pictures, I mean it. It is far from looking at simple images. Quickly, you fall into this strange world filled with black, more than white, blur, more than clearness. New exhibition from longwei: DISCOUNT FUEL

Longwei comes back to BOP after a long road trip along the south of USA. The vision he brings to us is far from what we are used to see in his previous exhibitions. First : he decided to shoot in colour, and that’s really unsual for him. Then, you quickly realize when looking at these pictures that there is really emptiness all around : no people, no animals. Only remains the feeling that human came here, and that he left something before going somewhere else. The square format of the photos forces you to stop and watch them quietly….
