I always loved lost places. I don’t know why, maybe because of the Stephen King’s books I was reading when I was 12 or 13, where youngs were spending all their time in special places, waiting for “it” to appear and so on. Maybe also because of my father’s garage that has always looked like Ali Baba’s cavern. In 2009 Yours Truly was asked to craft a book cover for Labyrint, a new Copenhagen-based publishing company translating French crime novels into Danish. I was sent to Marseille to walk the path of Fabio Montale and photograph the guts of Marseille’s side in Jean-Claude Izzo’s Total Kheops.
