After an impressive first piece of work around wood planting in some unexpected areas of Canada (click here to see “extreme planting” exhibition), Arnaud De Grave is continuing his investigations around “forests”.
Once again embedded with the people he is capturing for us (picture capture of course), the happy few in Panama city will have the chance to see the prints of Arnaud (handmade prints by himself) explaining us how wood is salvaged from the water where then they were flooded. The exhibition will take place at the Alliance Française of Panama, opening on the 17th of october 2013 at 6:30pm.

Après un travail impressionnant autour de la reforestation dans des lieux reculés du Canada (voir l’expo « Extreme Planting »), Arnaud de Grave continue ses enquêtes autour du monde de la Forêt.
Une fois de plus il est immergé avec les personnes qu’il prend en photo pour nous (et ce n’est pas qu’une image !) : les chanceux de la ville de Panama pourront découvrir les tirages de Arnaud (réalisés par lui-même), nous expliquant comment le bois est récupéré des profondeurs du lac Bayano.
L’exposition à lieu à l’Alliance Française de Panama, vernissage le 17 octobre, à 18h30.

That was a nice building, a tad bit charged from the colonial point of view but hey, doric columns are doric columns right?
