Hern’s new exhibition is probably the most introvert one we have had to see from him so far. The introduction he is giving us looks like a complete lie: how can we imagine that these photos are only nature as he is telling us… Going back and forth from the images to their titles, we are trying to see the “link”. The “link” between them all. The “link” between images and the global meaning. New real world exhibition by Th – “Sur la route de la soie”
We are happy to announce that BOP member Th (Arnaud Thurel) will be showing some of his pictures from China and specifically the silk road for a short show in Goncelin (France) at the end of December. A selection of fine prints of black and white pictures will be displayed in the main room of the redhouse of Goncelin. New exhibition by BOP member Th
For me, “”where do we go, what do we see” is an exhibition of a definite traveller. Emptiness is not vacuity. In the very hart of all the images resides a feeling of emptiness as if their was no answer to the question “where de we go ?” and if we were not sur of “what we see”. These pictures suggest that the answer is inside each of us and invite to the reflection. In fact there is no question mark at the end. This is a statement: “I show you where we DO go and what we DO see”….
