Our fellow members, Chris (YuB) and Arnaud (hern42) have reached by chance the Indian territories near the Bangladesh border. It was not their initial plan, but from this unexpected trip, they bring a very powerful double exhibition. Longwei comes back to BOP after a long road trip along the south of USA. The vision he brings to us is far from what we are used to see in his previous exhibitions. First : he decided to shoot in colour, and that’s really unsual for him. Then, you quickly realize when looking at these pictures that there is really emptiness all around : no people, no animals. Only remains the feeling that human came here, and that he left something before going somewhere else. The square format of the photos forces you to stop and watch them quietly….
