New exhibition: Lost Places 2, by Arnaud Thurel (Th)

Oops, he did it again… He had warned us there would be a second stage: Arnaud Thurel just released his “Lost Places, Act II” new exhibition. It still shows striking images of industrial wasteland, still shot with a pinhole camera in B&W. But this time, there are not only traces of life, but he shows life itself there, life that brings new purpose to the place. Beyond the technical constraints (like loooooong exposure times), Arnaud provides us with a good grasp of the feeling one has when entering the place. An alien-looking figure in a post apocalyptic environment, this is what it looks like to me. And this is what makes this series very intriguing.
